A leading financial services consultancy in London are looking to hire a number of C++/C#/Java technical consultants due to continued expansion. They are looking for bright and innovative individuals with a solid understanding of a common development language. There is particular preference to candidates with experience of Windows C++ although strong candidates with C# or Java will also be considered. The candidate in question must have a willingness to learn new technologies and want to be part of a close-knit, friendly and supportive development team. Candidates with banking experience are highly preferred, in particular those with Risk and/or Quantitative knowledge due to the nature of the role. In this C++/C#/Java position you will be based on site at a leading investment bank and will have the opportunity to pick up extensive business knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Implement business requirements directly Work on highly technical risk platforms Interact with key stakeholders and business users Essential requirements: Graduate level with a 2:1 or 1st in Computer Science/Software Engineering degree 2+ years relevant experience Development with object-oriented languages, such as C++, Java or C# Web-based application development Required Attributes: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Self starter and able to take ownership of projects with minimal supervision Works well with others and is supportive within a team A person who can think laterally to find...
