JAVA DEVELOPER-TECHNICAL LEAD, HIBERNATE, SPRING, JAVA, AJAX, HTML4/5; CMS, TDD, AGILE SCRUM, MEDIA; If you're a Senior Java Developer (potential to become a Technical Lead) with experience of working in an Java Spring Hibernate Web environment then an exciting new role has been created for you to work for one of the world's most prestigious Digital Media brands that have aggressive recruitment plans for 2013 to compliment their huge growth in recent years. Recently, due to their digital expansion, subscribers are up by 18% and annual sales revenues are up by 5% from last year (£6m+). The website has over 315,000 paying online subscribers (both mobile and desktop). 30% of all the website traffic originates from mobile devices. In this role, the Senior Java Developer will lead a small team of developers and assist non-technical colleagues in definition, design and implementation of a programme, liaising between 3rd parties, partners and business and technical stakeholders. Part of the role will involve working with the QA function to develop a repeatable, end-to-end testing process for the programme to validate changes and form a regression test suite to identify errors and omissions introduced either as direct result of development or as a side effect of other work.
