We work with clients in international financial centres in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. We run a talent development programme in conjunction with leading investment banks and global financial services companies which is aimed at recent graduates with 1-5 years of work experience. We are expanding our programme into the North West and are particularly interested in Software Engineers. You will be working alongside a team which is responsible for building software components from detailed designs, and also supporting and modifying existing application programs, making the best use of Spring, Hibernate and web technologies including XML, CSS, HTML, Servlets and JSP. We need you to have experience of developing complex large scale web sites/web applications, ideally those which handle considerable transaction volumes. Ideally you will have experience of most of the following:. Java (Java EE preferred). Experience in web service development using JAXRPC, WSDL, SOAP, Apache AXIS, WebSphere. Experience of AJAX, Backbase, XPATH, MQ, XSLT. Proficiency in Oracle database systems PL/SQL, SQL, DDL. Experience of working in an Agile environment You will be expected to proactively work through all aspects of the project life cycle, performing technical analysis, estimation, design, development, unit testing and system testing in order
