Jindal Group. The Institute possesses a world class Simulator of 250 MW/600 MW generating units & state of art infrastructure. JIPT is Located inside the 4X250/4X600 MW Jindal Thermal Power Plant in Tamnar, Raigarh, CG 496107 APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO ONE YEAR POST GRADUATE PROGRAM IN THERMAL POWER PLANT TECHNOLOGY COURSE ARE INVITED. OBJECTIVE: To develop a pool of technically trained power plant professionals for power utilities of India & Abroad. The course authorizes the pass outs to operate OR undertake Maintenance of any part or whole of a generating stations of capacity 100 MW & above together with the associated sub stations. | | Eligibility Criteria | Total Number
of Seats | Fee Details | | Minimum 60% Marks in class 10th, 12th & BE/B.Tech OR equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / EEE / Electronics / C&I Engineering Candidates awaiting their final semester engineering results are also eligible to apply. Age: Not more than 26 years as on 31.03.2012. | 120 | INR 150,000 payable in two equal installments | | | SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION: Candidates will have to appear in JIPT admission test consisting of written Examination & Personal Interview at Exam Centers: Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ranchi, and Raipur. Allocation of the centre will be based on the response of applicants. Hostel Facilities: Hostel facility is available in shared, furnished AC rooms with attached toilets. The hostel charges will be Rs 2000/pm PLACEMENTS: Placement assistance will be provided in the form of campus interviews by various Power Utilities. Over 80 % eligible trainees of current batch have already been placed in various reputed companies. IMPORTANT DATES: - Last date to apply: May 30, (Application fee: INR 500)
