Job Description

Role and Responsibility

 

Work along side other talented technologists to define requirements, design/architect proposed solution, to implement and deploy quality products.

Build highly performant java-script plug-ins and DOM parsing widgets for interesting consumer utilities

Implementing and deploying quality products using Agile methodologies with open-source technologies

 

Demonstrated Experience

 

MUST-HAVE: BE/BTech from Tier 1 college (IIT, NSIT, DTU, BITS, NITs) with 1-2yrs of experience in Java, J2ee, Spring, Web services

Insatiable desire to solve hard problems in a collaborative, fast paced, Agile team environment

Solid understanding of HTML, DOM manipulation, XPath expressions, Regular Expressions, CSS

Familiarity with debugging tools such as Firebug / Chrome DevTools.

Experience in web scraping using tools like scrapy, phantomjs  a plus.

Experience consuming REST/SOAP based APIs a plus.

Experience working with common JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Dojo, MooTools a plus.

Experience with developing Bookmarklets, Greasemonkey user scripts or Browser Extensions for Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari a plus.
