Graduates only apply Leading Investment Bank is currently looking for a strong Java Developer to join Prime Brokerage Division with Asset Servicing. Job Summary & Responsibilities Asset Servicing provides a critical service to both clients and internally the firm. The team is embarking on a multi year rebuild of its entire platform, that will challenge the team to build extremely fast, complex, and resilient software to service this functionally rich business area. The new platform will be a Real Time, message-based system, developed with high throughput and resiliency to deal with increased trade volumes. Job Duties: - Deliver quality solutions on all levels (analysis, development & testing) in a complex application environment, leveraging resources - Use of OOAD & UML in a highly collaborative environment - Maintain a focus on quality, attention to detail, communication and delivery to tight timescales Basic Qualifications - Minimum 2 years experience with Java and SQL - Excellent OOAD - Experience in enterprise architecture delivery - Experience in Hibernate or other ORM tool - Linux or Unix experience required - Good understanding of Agile Methodologies and test-driven development - Strong problem solving/analytical skills required - Strong verbal and written communication skills required Preferred Qualifications - Financial Industry experience - C#/.Net experience preferred, but not required - Experience in Spring Java Developer, SQL, Java, OOAD, ORM Tool, Hibernate,...
