JAVA DEVELOPER - SPRING MVC - PERL - CSS - SQL - UNIX - FINANCIAL SERVICES An opportunity has arisen for a Java Developer to join a leading Investment Management firm based in London. The role will involve working within a global project team where you will be developing and enhancing a variety of high profile new business functionalities for their Investment Management system using a variety of Front End technologies such as JavaScript, JSP, CSS and Perl. EXAMPLES OF KEY TASKS WILL INCLUDE: - Developing new functionalities for various trading platforms using Java technologies - Working closely with end users surrounding new functionalities - Creating SQL stored procedures and data modellers - Deploying software into testing and production environments KEY REQUIREMENTS: - Strong programming experience using J2EE, Spring MVC, JavaScript and CSS - Perl design and development experience - Knowledge of various financial products such as Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income - Experience working in a UNIX environment using ksh, bash and Shell Scripts - Sybase experience will be highly beneficial - Experience working within Financial Services This is a superb opportunity for a Java Developer who has recently been working within the Fund/Asset Management space, to take of a highly visible role that will involve liaising with end users spread across multiple business units surrounding the development and support of new functionalities for various trading platforms and Investment...
