J2EE/JEE/Java Developer/Senior/Lead/Technical Lead/Team Lead My client is adding to it's current team by recruitng 8 Java Developers at Mid - Senior level for their Midlands based offices. They follow an Agile software development methodology.They have a mix of standalone Java applications and JEE web applications and make use of technologies/tools like Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat, Jasper Reports, MS SQLServer 2005/2008, SOAP, JMX, AJAX, JMS, ActiveMQ, Eclipse, Maven, Continuum, Team City, SVN, Fitnesse, selenium etc.In addition, as a company who produce real devices knowledge of operating systems, low level protocols, and firmware will be an advantage. Candidates applying for the developer role must have very strong Java knowledge with production experience of multi-threading and collections framework. You should have also used Spring & Hibernate or any other ORM tools. Exposure to MS SQLServer 2005 or Oracle and jasper reports is desirable. Good OO Design skills, Agile background and strong unit testing/TDD skills will be an advantage. All candidates should be willing to learn new technologies as our client is committed to using emerging technologies to create the best products as efficiently as possible.
