This month Easysoft unveils an exciting new set of data access solutions focussing on further 64-bit support, Unicode, security and encryption. 64-bit support Growing user bases and data requirements mean our customers are increasingly moving to 64-bit platforms to obtain the peak performance, scalability, larger address space and power of 64-bit processors. With Easysoft Data Access Solutions you get the same quality and reliability of our standard 32-bit drivers but now with the processing capacity of 64-bit. Security Easysoft understands that secure data exchange is critical to your business systems. New releases of our SQL Server ODBC Driver support AES, 3DES and DES Encryption, the latest and most secure version of SSL, SSL Cipher Suites, FIPS 140-2 Encryption Standards and Kerberos authentication. Unicode Easysoft understands your data is multi-lingual and you need Unicode support. Easysoft Data Access Solutions are the only ones to support Unicode the way ODBC defines it and the way Microsoft support it. Don't be faced with different implementations on Unix and Windows, write it once with Easysoft drivers. Highlights

Kerberos authentication support : Provides the benefits of single sign-on and centralized authentication to Linux/Unix based SQL Server users. UTF-8 Support : Preserve the integrity of Unicode SQL Server data on Linux and Unix systems. MARS Over SSL : The only data access solution that lets Linux/Unix users take advantage of MARS now makes this important SQL Server feature available over an encrypted connection. Domain Discovery : Reduce the amount of configuration needed to authorize Linux/Unix to SQL Server connections through Windows authentication. Microsoft SQL Server Driver Extensions : Control SQL Server functionality from Linux/Unix with Microsoft's recommended configuration methods.
Easysoft ODBC-Oracle Driver for Unix/Linux Two versions of the Easysoft ODBC-Oracle Driver are available: an Oracle Call Interface (OCI) version and a Wire Protocol (WP) version. The Easysoft ODBC-Oracle Driver (OCI version) uses Oracle client software to access the Oracle database. This is Oracle's supported database access method. The driver is compatible with both the standard Oracle Database Client and the Oracle Instant Client. Using the Oracle Client software provides the most comprehensive access to Oracle database functionality. The Easysoft ODBC-Oracle Driver (WP version) does not use Oracle client software. It provides direct access to Oracle when minimizing the client footprint is a key requirement.
Easysoft ODBC-JDBC Gateway Version 2.3 of the Easysoft ODBC-JDBC Gateway is now available with added support for 64-bit Windows platforms. On 64-bit platforms, both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions are installed allowing applications to transparently use the correct driver.
Easysoft ODBC-Access Driver For a short period, we have a great promotional offer 40% discount for all Easysoft ODBC-Access driver license purchases made before the end of year.* The only commercially available and supported ODBC-Access Driver connects 32-bit and 64-bit applications on Linux and Unix to Microsoft Access databases. It allows Linux users to work alongside Windows users, retrieving and updating data in one shared Access database, which can remain in its existing location. For example, you can: The driver uses the native Access mechanism for managing concurrent access. This makes integrating Linux into your Access solution transparent and problem-free.
