Kites, which caused quite a stir at the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival, stars Hrithik Roshan and Spanish diva Barbara Mori in the lead. Anurag Basu directs the film, being produced by Rakesh Roshan.
Kites is a love story with precious moments and unexpected betrayal crossing barriers, boundaries and cultures. Shot in Las Vegas, Mumbai, New Mexico and Los Angeles Kites also stars Kangana Ranaut, Nick Brown and Kabir Bedi in pivotal roles with music composed by Rajesh Roshan.
Hrithik plays J, a mortally wounded man who is left for dead in the Mexican desert. His quest is to find his love Natasha (Barbara), who is engaged to somebody else. The film explores love that transcends all barriers, boundaries and cultures. Other important members of the cast include Kangna Ranaut, Kabir Bedi and Nick Brown.
