Stop chasing jobs. Let them chase you.
Just because you do not have too much experience in IT Industry does not mean that jobs cannot chase you. Most of the top IT companies look for freshers who are already job-ready. Job ready means that freshers already have some of the skill-sets needed to perform entry-level job in IT Companies.

IT Companies have been complaining that the freshers who come out of college do not have the basic skill-sets and hence they find it challenging to hire them. These basic skill sets include mastery over a programming language, good aptitude, decent communication skills, right attitude towards work etc.

However we say that while you wait for the right job, start by investing in yourself. Invest in your learning. Take your career in your own hands.

Some of the things you can do:
  • Keep yourself updated on the latest technologies - follow top tech blogs, understand what is happening in the industry, subscribe to techgig newsletter
  • Learn a programming language decently well - Be it Java, PHP, Mobile Programming Languages
  • Become proficient in any of the database - MySQL, SQL, Oracle
