Ideally the Java developer will currently be working within financial services developing web based financial applications (preferably in FX or Money Markets) but solid Java developers with E-commerce applications experience will be considered from any industry background. This is an excellent opportunity for a Java developer to move into the financial services industry. As a Java developer you will have strong skills with Java, JSPs, Webservices, MQ, jQuery/JavaScript frameworks, Spring and Hibernate. From a database perspective you will need to be competent with Oracle and PL/SQL. This role will be working with a mix of Greenfield and Legacy applications and as a developer you will need to have experience of the full software development life cycle.
